Happy Friday, everyone! Mary Oliver is much on my mind this morning, as DC's Mayor is proposing to do away with our city's poet laureate award.


Nearly all of my high-achieving math students are in Calculus as seniors; STEM curriculums aren't keeping pace with reality.
